RINA is looking for a Safety Critical Avionic Software Engineer - Aerospace & Defence to expand our team in Rome.
As a Safety Critical Avionic Software Engineer for the Aerospace & Defence Unit you will take care of the development of real-time software application and low-level SW (device drivers) for embedded platforms in the avionics field.
You will be set into an exciting professional environment working on a variety of Avionic, Simulation, SW, System Projects with international colleagues and clients.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience in the development of real-time application software, preferably in the avionics field.
Experience in developing low-level SW (device drivers) for embedded platforms
Experience in software development with C, C ++, ADA and Python languages

Standard Knowledge of Coding (MISRA)
Consolidated experience of I / F protocols for avionics applications (Mil Std 1553, ARINC429, CanAero,
AFDX, RS485 / 422, USB, UDP, TCP, etc).
Knowledge of the RTCA / DO-178C Software Certification Standard.
Knowledge of the ARINC 653 standard.
Knowledge of cartographic data standards.
Experience in developing software on bareboard systems.
Experience in software development on multicore CPUs
Knowledge of the IBM toolchain (DOORS and Raphsody)
Knowledge of Real Time operating systems ( Green Hills Integrity, Windriver Vxworks).
Knowledge of Esterel development toolchains (SCADE) and / or Mathworks Simulink.
Knowledge of Presagis development toolchains (VAPS, VAPS-XT).
Knowledge of Microsoft development environments (VisualStudio).
Experience in developing graphics applications based on OpenGL standards.
Experience in software configuration management with versioning tools ( SVN, GIT) and change management (RedMine)
Knowledge of static code analysis tools and methodologies (LDRA, PARASOFT)
Knowledge of structural Coverage Analysis tools and methodologies (LDRA, VECTORCAST / COVER)
Computer Science, Electronic, Telecommunication, Aerospace Engineering Degree
Other Requirements:

Capable to work in a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to complex projects
