RINA is currently recruiting for a Research & Development Project Manager for its office in Genova.
The ideal candidate, within the RINA Energy innovation division, will be contributing to various projects serving principally as International Funded project manager and helping with the setup of new R&D; opportunities and project proposals and partnerships.
Main Tasks:
Coordinate activities in the framework of EU funded projects also interacting with international partners
Contribute to delivery high-quality reports and results for European research and innovation projects involving energy efficiency, renewable energy technologies and the smart grid
Support the Innovation for Energy division manager in business development activities
Promote new R&D; opportunities and participate to project proposal writing
International travel for innovation consulting support
Teamwork with R&D; Group within the Energy Business Unit
Desired skills and experience:
Degree in Energy/Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering with a focus on energy efficiency, renewable energy technologies or smart grids
Fluent in English and Italian
Excellent reporting skills both verbal and written
Capacity to conduct research, organize work and produce results
Comfortable in engaging stakeholders at the EU and national level to include workshops, conferences and dissemination events
Capacity and curiosity of managing transversal innovation tasks such as communication, dissemination and exploitation of R&D; results
Additional skills/experience:
experience with FP7 and H2020 European R&D; projects is a plus
Proposal development skills is a plus
Pragmatic and result-focussed attitude
Team player, yet able to work independently
R&D;, Innovation attitude
Curiosity toward a wide range of markets and technologies
