1. Post Context / Post Summary
Headquarters Allied Joint Force Command Naples is a Joint Headquarters operating at the Operational Levelcapable of executing effective command and control over assigned forces in order to achieve Operational effects in anassigned Joint Operating Area. As a Joint Force Command the relationships with other NATO Command Structureand NATO Force Structure Component Command Headquarters will change between baseline activities crisis andconflict.
It also provides Joint competencies to assigned NATO Force Structure Headquarters tasked to deploy as Joint Task Force Support Directorate is responsible for planning directing monitoring assessing and coordinating support stafffunctions.
The J4 Division is responsible for the operationallevel alliance logistics requirements for the JF HQ and of Interest especially in the areas of regional focus / Logistics Operations and Plans Branch is responsible for assessing coordinating and following up on logisticmatters; including the development and implementation of all Logistic plans concepts doctrine stockpile planningand supply class management in support of operations and exercises.
The Logistic Plans Section develops plans concepts doctrine stockpile planning and supply class management insupport of operations and exercises.
The incumbents duties are :
1 Assists the Officer of Primary Responsibility (OPR) in development of operational requirements development forinformation systems supporting ACO Logistic Medical and Military Engineering stakeholders roles in Enablement onbehalf of JFCNP.
2 Assists the OPR in the effective relevant general Logistics Information Management (LIM) Function related to the Enablement related Roles Responsibilities and Authorities of JFCNP including :
Develop / Implement policy doctrine procedures and plans capabilities.
Identify LIM policy / material requirements and implement solutions.
Provide LIM functional advice / support in support to NATO / national planning
Support to Boards WGs Committees etc.
Support to Training and Exercises
Knowledge Management.
3 Assists the OPR in effective of Enablement Support Services (ESS) development related to the Enablement related Roles Responsibilities and Authorities of JFCNP including :
Establish and Run ESS Project #10
ESS U&OA; Criteria Development
Oversee U&OA; Trials Process
CONOPS and IMPLAN Development (DOTMLPFI)
4 Assists the OPR in effective of ESS Transition Management related to the Enablement related RolesResponsibilities and Authorities of JFCNP including :
IMPLAN Development (DOTMLPFI)
Change Management / Project Acceptance
Data Migration
Manage NCS / NFS / National Transition
5 Assists the OPR in effective of extra duties directly related to the Enablement related RolesResponsibilities and Authorities of JFCNP involving :
- NATO Digital Enterprise Transformation;
Federated Mission Networking / Logistic subsyndicate.

3. Special Requirements and Additional Duties
The employee may be required to perform a similar range of duties elsewhere within the organisation at the samegrade without there being any change to the contract
The incumbent may be required to undertake deployments in support of military operations and exercises and / or TDY assignments both within and without NATO boundaries. Such operational deployment may exceed 30 days duration up to 183 days in any period of 547 days and may be on short notice. For NATO International Civilian Staff acceptance of an employment contract linked to this post constitutes agreement to deploy in excess of 30 days if required.
The incumbent may be required to undertake TDY assignments both within and without NATOs boundaries and bewilling to work unsocial hours.
The work is normally performed in a Normal NATO office working environment.
Normal Working Conditions apply.
The risk of injury is categorised as No risk / risk might increase when deployed.
4. Essential Qualifications
Education and Professional experience
University Degree in logistics transport library information science management information systems computerscience or related discipline and 2 years function related experience or Higher Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training in that discipline leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation with4 years post related experience;
Experience participating in the overall planning organizing and directing of programmes services and support activities carried out through all logistics functions
Experience in developing plans and policyguidance to implement logistics management programmes.
Language
English SLP 3333 (Listening Speaking Reading and Writing). NOTE : The work both oral and written in this post and in this Headquarters as a whole is conducted mainly in English.

CONTRACT
The successful candidate will be offered a 3year definite duration contract within the NATO Agenda 2030. On expiry of this term the PLN will exceptionally be considered for extension be deleted or absorbed into the ceiling pending approval. The basic entrylevel monthly salary for a NATO Grade 15 (A2 in Italy is Euro 5939.03 which is exempt from national taxation and which may be augmented based on the selected candidates personal status.
