At Off-White, we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our Finance team in Milan. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, with a focus on general ledger activities, accounts payable and receivable, and treasury / payment processes. The role requires familiarity with Italian accounting principles and local compliance obligations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform general accounting tasks, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable : process and post supplier invoices, handle payment schedules, and reconcile supplier statements
- Manage accounts receivable : monitor outstanding receivables




- Execute and monitor domestic and international payments , including SEPA and SWIFT transfers
- Reconcile bank statements and manage daily cash position
- Ensure compliance with Italian tax and financial regulations (IVA, ritenute d’acconto, etc.)
- Support monthly and annual closings and prepare documentation for statutory audits
- Liaise with external consultants (e.g., CPA, auditors) and internal departments when needed

Requirements :

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Previous experience in an accounting role within an Italian company (4+ years preferred)
- Good knowledge of Italian accounting and tax regulations
- Experience with accounting software and strong proficiency in MS Excel
- Accuracy, organizational skills, and ability to manage deadlines
- Good communication skills in Italian; English is a plus (especially for multinational contexts)
