Product Sub Editor & Translator Arabic ( f/m/d) – Overview

To support our Copy Editing team we are searching for a Product Sub Editor & Translator Arabic ( f/m/d) to be based in our Milan office.

Responsibilities

- Oversee the quality and consistency of Arabic product copy and translations across all three platforms.
- Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to junior team members.
- Onboard new starters.
- Coordinate the workflow and timely delivery of Arabic product descriptions and translations.
- Review and adapt AI/agency-translated texts, ensuring linguistic quality, brand tone, and factual accuracy.
- Sub-edit product copy as needed.
- Ensure a consistent tone of voice for Arabic product descriptions across all channels.
- Collaborate with Content Managers and other teams to optimize product content.
- Participate in creative workshops, brand trainings, and new projects aimed at team development.
- Act as a point of contact for Content Managers and Copy Editors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of Arabic assets.

Who You Are
- Native Arabic speaker with excellent written and verbal skills, including a strong grasp of spelling and grammar.
- Proficiency in English with excellent comprehension skills.
- Educated to degree level with a background in Journalism, Creative Writing, Marketing,



Translation or fashion-related subjects.
- 3-5 years professional experience in translation, writing and editing, with demonstrable experience in a leadership or senior role.
- Profound fashion competence and knowledge of industry trends, luxury brands, and textiles.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with proven experience managing deadlines and translation coordination.
- Familiar with MS Office and CMS systems.
- Experience in fashion e-commerce, editorial or digital media environments.
