We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to manage the day‑to‑day accounting activities of Econergy’s Italian entities, including both service companies and multiple SPVs.

The role is responsible for executing daily accounting operations such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll, as well as supporting the monthly closing process. Additionally, the position will assist with all tax compliance requirements, including WHT, VAT, and F24 submissions.

Responsibilities

- Handling the general ledger of the Italian service company / SPVs, booking all purchase invoices, reconciling banks and supplier accounts,



and booking payroll journals.
- Maintain accurate intercompany balances, ensuring inter‑company balances are reconciled on a monthly basis.
- Prepare monthly F24 for all entities, run WHT Reports.
- Prepare quarterly and annual VAT returns and submissions. Support with any VAT reimbursement questions raised by the authorities.
- Using the support of local tax experts, oversee the filing of other required taxes, annual reports, bank reporting and any other local compliance needs.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree.
- 1‑3 years of professional experience.
- Intermediate in English and fluent in Italian.
- Knowledge of IAS/IFRS and Italian GAAP is mandatory.
- Experience in working for accounting studios/multi‑company.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A positive team spirit and attitude.
- A ‘can do’ pro‑active, solutions‑oriented attitude and work ethic.
