- Position: Desktop Support Engineer (L1)
- Job Type: Full-time onsite (Forli Italy)
- Working Hours: Standard business hours
- Contract: 12 months Fixed term
- Start Date: Immediate
- Experience Required: 2–3 years in desktop / end-user support
- Languages: Italian (C1 min B2), English (min B2)
- Prerequisite: Must have the right to work in Italy (full-time)

Job Description;

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Onsite Support Engineer to join our team in Italy. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in providing top-notch technical support to our users by resolving hardware and software issues, ensuring smooth IT operations, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform Installs, Moves, Adds, and Changes (IMACD) of hardware and software.
- Act as a key point of contact for EUS onsite teams, managing SLAs effectively and leading the team to success.
- Provide exceptional break-fix support for hardware, software, and mobility issues.
- Manage backup tape rotations, tape library systems, and coordinate server reboots.
- Ensure proper provisioning, configuration, and delivery of IT equipment, supporting both office-based and remote users.
- Troubleshoot and maintain desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, printers, VOIP phones, and other peripherals.




- Collaborate with internal IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Oversee desktop imaging, security patching, and ensure all devices meet configuration standards.

Preferred Technical Skills

- Expertise in Windows 10/11
- Active Directory, Azure
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suit support.
- Service Now/Remedy
- Familiarity with endpoint management tools like SCCM/Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, including basic network troubleshooting, wired/wireless connectivity, and switch management.
- Experience with desktop/laptop hardware replacements, peripheral installations, and system imaging.

Soft Skills

- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical solutions in a user-friendly manner.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and prioritizing based on urgency.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional demeanor and foster positive outcomes when working with clients.
- Skilled in creating technical documentation and contributing to knowledge bases (KB articles).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €29,000.00 - €30,000.00 per year
