**Junior Buyer – Temporary**

The Junior Buyer will join the local Procurement Team, reporting to the Procurement Manager, and will be responsible for activities related to the order management process of direct materials.

**Responsibilities**

+ Manage commercial relationships with suppliers within the assigned category, including developing and proposing improvement initiatives
+ Plan and schedule purchase orders for assigned suppliers in order to optimize inventory management in line with the objectives set by the Procurement Manager
+ Support market analysis activities to ensure purchasing policies and supplier quality standards are maintained over time, highlighting any issues or deviations
+ Support the scouting and evaluation of new suppliers, in line with company objectives and policies, in order to propose cost-effective and service-efficient alternatives
+ Analyze procurement and supply processes
+ Verify that purchased materials comply with technical specifications and are accompanied by the required technical documentation




+ Enter purchase orders into the SAP system
+ Manage and maintain assigned supplier price lists and the Vendor Rating system

**Requirements**

+ Alignment with company values of Respect (for corporate standards, company vision, colleagues and customers, processes and operating procedures), Responsibility, Collaboration, Reliability, and Agility (continuous improvement)
+ University degree in Supply Chain, or equivalent education/experience
+ Fluent English; good knowledge of a second language is considered a plus
+ Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
+ Knowledge of SAP is considered a plus
+ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
+ Good organizational and time-management skills
+ Problem-solving mindset with a proactive attitude
