About the job:
The intern will join the Quality Control Department and support the assigned Tutor in all activities related to the inspection of primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging materials , actively participating and receiving on the job training. A 6 month curricular or extracurricular internship is offered, with the possibility of extension. A monthly reimbursement and free access to the company canteen are provided.
Main responsibilities:
- Retrieve material samples from the warehouse.
- Perform physical/dimensional analyses on packaging materials (primary, secondary, tertiary) as required by the site’s analytical procedures, ensuring full compliance with the procedural instructions and promptly reporting any out of specification results to the Supervisor.
- Record all analyses in the appropriate registers and enter the test results into the site’s IT system (LIMS).
- Comply with departmental standard operating procedures related to operational and safety instructions, reporting any anomalies encountered during their application.
- Support the management of deadlines for qualification and calibration activities of analytical instruments used for testing.
- Support the management of the archive of artwork films for approved printed packaging materials.
- Contribute to cleaning instruments and workbenches to maintain order in the QC Packaging area.
- Contribute to waste disposal within the QC Packaging area.
After an initial training period, you will progressively manage key tasks autonomously, collaborating with different company functions and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
About you:
- Basic understanding of lab instruments and data recording
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to shifting daily priorities
- Team‑oriented mindset and willingness to collaborate
- Diploma in scientific subjects
- Good knowledge of Italian; English is a plus
- Good command of MS Office Suite
- Must have own means of transportation (B drive licence and a personal car are required)
