Overview
Security Sales Specialist Job at TD SYNNEX – San Giuliano Milanese, Lombardia
Job Purpose:
As a Security Sales Specialist you’ll play a key role within IT Security Business Unit allocated to accounts where you’ll have the opportunity to gain a deep knowledge of portfolio, process and vendor pricing, manages all quotes and closes orders; incentivized based on part of the portfolio.
What You’ll Do :
Build Excellent customer and vendor sales relationships through proactive engagement and demonstrable specialist product knowledge subject to clear managerial direction
Generate new business opportunities by planning outbound calls to customers. Can have a detailed conversation with customers on solution and identify opportunities to involve the right people in the company
Achieve monthly/quarterly Revenue and Margin targets
Proactively develop relationships with key internal and external contacts
Engages in active inside selling by gathering relevant internal and external customer information and develops short, medium and long term activities to drive appropriate customer engagements
Manages customer backorder along specialist knowledge and engages in “intelligent project fishing”
In AS either manages project end-to-end or hands over to pre sales for technical requirements
Provide, sell and negotiate product information, pricing, special offers and promotions
Ensure TD SYNNEX maintains service levels agreements with customers
Attainment of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) such as customer engagement
Sell the benefits of using TD SYNNEX and the Company value proposition
Develops partner relationship (incl. account planning, cross-selling etc.)
Identifies project opportunities and engages with BDMs if specific product/ vendor knowledge is required
Drives sales of specific products/ vendors if specific knowledge is required
Provides accurate and timely quotations (SMB Managed (AS), SP/ E-Var/ SI segment, Specialists (IBM), entire AS BUs)
Generate and own a pipeline of deals in TD SYNNEX’s CRM system, which is regularly reviewed and updated and ensure active closure of opportunities
Manage customer backorder expectations and reporting
Ensure CRM system is well maintained and provides correct customer information
What We’re Looking For
Italian languages overall fluent; english language overall advanced
5+ years of experience
Attention to details
Excellent telephone manner
Priority management and planning skills
Strive to achieve set targets
Understands Sales Process
Effective Communication Skills
Effective team building relationship
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Ideal candidates will have previous experience of IT systems for quotation, order entry, CRM
knowledge of security products would be desirable
Channel IT industry knowledge would be desirable
