As a senior member of the MEMS design team, the MEMS design expert leads and contributes to all phases of product development for innovative 3-axis accelerometers and 3-axis gyroscopes.
Main activities of the MEMS design expert include:
•Lead feasibility studies and select sensor architectures to meet specifications.
•Design sensor layouts and conduct simulations to predict sensor performance across manufacturing variability and real-world application scenarios.
•Develop novel simulation models to describe sensor behavior in new environmental conditions.
•Plan and perform sensor validation and characterization.
•Contribute to new sensor research and development in collaboration with design centers and universities.




The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience as an inertial MEMS designer and holds a PhD in MEMS design or manufacturing, or at least seven years of experience as an inertial MEMS designer and holds a degree in mechanical engineering, physical engineering, or electronic engineering. The candidate demonstrates expertise in MEMS sensors, including design principles, simulation tools, and instruments used for sensor validation. Basic knowledge of MEMS technology, inertial sensor architectures, and sensor calibration and characterization is required. Proficiency with finite element method (FEM) simulations and MATLAB® is required. The candidate must demonstrate accountability, attention to detail, a problem-solving mindset, curiosity, and a drive for innovation.
