Description
We are looking for an SEO Strategy Manager who ships client outcomes through agents and automation, not through headcount and manual hours. You own KPI progress across traditional search and AI-driven search experiences.
You set direction, explain your reasoning clearly, and guide clients toward the right decisions. This role goes beyond producing audits, recommendations, or manual execution. It is about designing the systems and owning the client relationship that turn SEO strategy into measurable results.
What are the responsibilities of an SEO Strategy Manager?
Lead SEO strategy and client outcomes

Own SEO strategy and KPI progress across assigned client accounts.
Act as the main strategic point of contact for clients, providing clear updates, proactive recommendations, and confident direction.
Lead strategy reviews, reporting calls, and QBRs, connecting SEO performance to business impact.
Monitor risks,



blockers, and signs of client concern or dissatisfaction, and create recovery plans before issues escape.
Identify growth opportunities and propose new initiatives or scope expansions that can drive measurable results.

Build AI-supported SEO workflows

Turn recurring SEO tasks into repeatable templates, workflows, or automation.
Set up monitoring for ranking changes, technical issues, competitor activity, and visibility gaps in AI search results.
Build recurring processes for auditing and improving technical SEO, structured data, internal linking, and content visibility.
Monitor how often clients’ brands are mentioned or recommended in AI search results, identify gaps, and suggest actions to improve visibility.
Decide which SEO tasks should be handled by specialists, AI tools, or a combination of both.

Improve quality, scalability, and team adoption

Create quality checks for automated SEO work
