Demand planner will lead the process of managing and allocating available parts inventory based on business rules. This would include managing due dates for parts procurement, suppliers and transit lead time, supplier’s capacity and parts inventory stock holding policies. He/she will lead the process of forecasting demand, predicting procurement requirements to meet estimated customer demand in a forecasting period.

He/she must have capacity to analyze previous sales, the general state of the economy, consumer preferences, and competitive products. Understanding of how production forecasting decisions affect budgetary and scheduling decisions.

He/she must be familiar with sales forecasting models and algorithms.

Moreover he/she will lead the calculation of appropriate stocking levels to mitigate demand variability through the inclusion of all relevant lead times, variability during lead times, and desired service levels.


- Maintenance of System Parameters driving Main material Management processes (Forecast, DRP, Deployment).

- Analysis of Material management KPI’s.

- Development and follow-up of aimed actions to reach Material Management objectives linked to Inventory and Availability.

- Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.

- Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.

- Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management.

- Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.

- Conduct monthly forecast maintenance.

- Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.

- Extracting information from different data warehouses / Databases,

performing analysis by families, classifications, data mining.

- Performing specific analysis in order to guide business decisions (market conditions, sales volumes).

- Decide parameter corrections to reach specific Inventory/Availability targets.

- Interact with the Warehouses to understand impacts of specific initiatives and to coordinate Inventory actions execution.

- Support other departments (Planning, Expediting, DPS, Marketing) with specific analysis.


- Minimum 3 years after high school.

- Proficiency in MS Office analytic tools (Ms Access, Excel).

- Knowledge of Supply Chain principles.

- Master of Science in Statistics, Engineering.

- Statistical knowledge.

- Knowledge of Data Warehouses (SAP-BW, Business Object, Cognos).

- Knowledge of programming languages (VBA).

- Previous Experience in Supply Chain Management or Operations.

- Office’s knowledge.

- Knowledge of Parts Operation Processes.

- Analytic Attitude.

- Capable to work in autonomy.

- Communication skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
