Position
The role will be responsible for supporting the development, and execution of merchandising initiatives for Fendi's man’s categories within a retail environment. This temporary position aims to maintain business continuity, drive sales performance, and elevate customer experience by ensuring optimal product assortment, compelling visual presentation, and timely responsiveness to market trends. The Retail Merchandiser Man Categories will work collaboratively with various cross-functional teams, including retail operations and visual merchandising, to translate brand vision into impactful retail strategies.
The position is based at Rome HQ.
Job responsibilities
- Support in defining the central buying vision, setting the core assortment and buying guidelines;
- Proactively analyze sales data and trends and use data to influence decisions in buying meetings;
- Manage & successfully provide weekly, seasonal and ad hoc reports to summarise, analyse & identify key drivers with view to proposing any necessary trading action;
- Build collaborative relationships across all departments including Visual Merchandising, Ecommerce, Supply Chain and Marketing teams;
- Actively manage with Supply Chain continuity products;
- Manage department OTB, in season trading, identify risks and opportunities;
- Participate in and support in all the activities related to the Buying Campaign.
Profile
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Retail Merchandising;
- University degree in Economics,
Engineering, Business or related fields;
- Fluent in English;
- Highly numerate and analytical with a strong attention to detail;
- Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders;
- Ability to work in a rapidly evolving and fast paced environment;
- Positive, can-do attitude.

The Fendi Maison was established by Adele and Edoardo Fendi in Rome in 1925. The opening of the first Fendi boutique – a handbag shop and fur workshop followed. Soon winning international acclaim, Fendi emerged as a brand renowned for its elegance, craftsmanship, innovation and style.
