As Lead Software Test Engineer, you will drive quality across a multiplatform streaming environment. You’ll partner with product, engineering and QA teams to implement testing strategies, frameworks and automation that accelerate delivery. You’ll lead and mentor QE engineers, shape testing processes, and own performance, load and security testing across web, mobile, and emerging platforms. This role offers a chance to influence release quality in a fast-paced, feature-driven culture.

- Provide technical quality leadership and guidance on testing best practices
- Develop test plans, cases and execution for product/project teams
- Collaborate with engineering to design tools and enable continuous development
- Mentor other test engineers and contribute to internal training
- Maintain testing framework for functional, load/performance and security tests across platforms




- Perform exploratory, regression and automated testing and ensure rapid feedback to engineers
- Support agile delivery with near-immediate test automation feedback
- Oversee activities of offshore QE engineers/contractors
- Strong knowledge of software quality practices and ability to learn emerging concepts
- Strong software development and technical architecture skills
- OO programming background with focus on scalability, reliability and reusable code
- Version control experience (SVN, Git, Stash)
- Solid experience with test automation tools xlwpduy (Selenium, WebDriver, JUnit, TestNG, Appium, Cypress)
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo)
- Experience with performance/load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Experience with Agile testing methodologies
- Knowledge of web video playback, encoding, live streaming concepts
- Knowledge of proxy tools (Charles, Fiddler, Httpwatch)
- IT concepts, networks, CDNs, caching strategies
