This is a unique opportunity to join a well‑funded, highly ambitious team and play a direct role in shaping the future of enterprise AI. /p pTo make this happen, we are looking for a bSenior Financial Controller /b to support our bHead of Finance /b in building and scaling our finance function as we grow across products, markets and legal entities. /p h3What are we looking for? /h3 pWe’re looking for a Senior Financial Controller to own Indigo.ai’s full financial accounting function as we scale across products, markets and legal entities. This is a foundational role: you will be our first dedicated hire, working directly with the Head of Finance Strategy and our external advisors to build the infrastructure that supports our growth. You will sit within the GA team and report to the Head of Finance Strategy, with the autonomy to design processes where none exist today. Your work will give the company reliable numbers, clean closings and healthy cash management, the backbone of every strategic decision. As the function matures, this role can grow into a leadership position within Finance, building and guiding a team of its own. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liControls and processes: design and strengthen financial processes and internal controls, with a bias toward automation and scalability. /li liFinancial controlling and reporting: own financial reporting across entities, products and markets, supporting the Head of Finance in analyzing deviations from budget, forecast and prior performance. /li liOwn treasury and cash flow management: cash positioning,



working capital, short and mid‑term forecasting, bank relationships and payment execution. /li liManage statutory accounting and periodical balance sheet closings: coordinate with auditors and tax advisors, prepare statutory filings and ensure full compliance. /li liDrive accounts receivable and credit management: own invoicing cycles, collections and reconciliation with CRM and contract data, working with Sales and Customer Success to ensure timely and accurate billing. /li liLead the monthly close process: own the full close calendar in partnership with our accounting and tax advisor. /li liHandle transfer pricing and inter‑company accounting across foreign legal entities, in partnership with local teams and advisors. /li /ul h3You will need /h3 ul li2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles; we value candidates from Big 4 and/or high‑growth startups or scale‑ups. /li liAn entrepreneurial attitude: you won’t inherit a system, you’ll build one. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, sets up processes where none exist, and is energized by that challenge. /li liExcellent command of Excel; we are pushing AI automation (i.e. Claude) in our financial flows, but Excel is still a must. /li liExperience with an ERP or accounting software (e.g. Genya, NetSuite, or similar). /li liExperience with or curiosity about BI and reporting tools (e.g. Metabase, Tableau); we’re building our data stack and you’ll be part of it. /li liFamiliarity with Italian GAAP. /li liA great balance between attention to detail and pragmatism. /li liFluent Italian and working‑level English, written and verbal. /li liAbility to work autonomously, manage multiple deadlines, and escalat​e clearly when needed. /li /ul h3We will really like (but they are not required)
