ph3Team Overview and Job Responsibilities /h3pWe are looking for a bPROJECT INVESTMENT CONTROLLER /b based in our headquarters in Milan, who will report to the CAPEX Manager and functionally report to the Finance department of the Business Unit Transmission of Prysmian. The main task is to support the governance of manufacturing investments, which are aimed at enhancing the Group’s plants footprint, by managing investment projects planning, the relations with the procurement department, and the spending status of investment projects. /ph3Current Investment Project Portfolio /h3pAverage number of active Projects: 20brAverage Project duration: 2 years (from 10 months to 4 years) /ph3Key Activities and Responsibilities /h3ulliSupport the CAPEX team to prepare comprehensive Business Cases, outlining financial aspects, potential risks and expected returns of proposed investment projects /liliCollaborate with cross‑functional teams (Manufacturing, Procurement, Machinery, RD, Plants) to establish project budgets and ensure alignment with overall financial objectives /liliCooperate with the Procurement Team to monitor actual supplier saturation, identify alternative suppliers and potential spending efficiencies /liliCollaborate with investment Project Engineers to track progress against the established timelines and budgets /liliUnder the supervision of BU Transmission Finance function:ulliDefine the proper structure of the project breakdown structure /liliMonitor project expenditures and make cost projections at project completion /liliMake assessments by identifying and addressing budgetary variances promptly and defining efficiency actions /liliGenerate regular reports on project economics highlighting key metrics /liliDevelop post‑project financial analysis to assess the accuracy of initial projections and identify areas for improvement /li /ul /li /ulh3Key Requirements /h3ulliMaster’s degree in Management Engineering /liliSkilled in budget management and project accounting /liliExperience with SAP /liliFamiliarity with manufacturing processes and investments in production facilities is a plus /liliPrevious experience on EPCI projects is a plus /liliExperience with Procurement Processes is a plus /li /ulh3Soft Skills Requirements /h3ulliExcellent communication and presentation abilities to different levels in the company /liliAbility to deal with high level management of other functions (Procurement, Engineering, Finance) /liliProblem solver, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail /liliTeam player /liliProficient in English and Italian, written and spoken.
