About the role

As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (internally referred to as Mechanical Technician), you'll have the opportunity to apply your expertise in maintaining and repairing a diverse range of heavy vehicles, trucks, plant machinery, light vehicles and other essential equipment. This is a hands-on role where your skills and knowledge gained through a Vehicle Mechanical Technology or related trade will be put to the test.

We’re looking for people who have:
- Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology
- Experience with a variety of heavy and light vehicles and plant machinery (highly advantageous)




- Experience using Computerise Maintenance Management Systems such as SAP
- A self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A responsible attitude towards timekeeping, work organisation and quality control
