ppOHB Italia is looking for its Payloads/Equipment Business Units in MILANO or TORINO for immediate start a /p pbPayload/Equipment System Engineer (m/f) Ref.PayEquip Sys_2026 /b /p pYou will join a team of System Engineers leading and driving the payload activities along the whole project lifecycle, including design, development, integration, verification, launch and in-orbit operations. You will focus your activities on the technical coordination of the procurement of payload subsystems and equipment and on the payload requirement verification, but you may be required to support the overall system engineering activities as needed. You could be involved either in early phases (0-B1) or in consolidation and delivery phases (B2-E), for both new developments and recurring projects. Typical applications are in the Earth observation business. /p h3Tasks /h3 ul liRequirement breakdown and engineering at unit/subsystem level. /li liDefinition of unit/subsystem architecture. /li liCoordinate internal technical resources (electronic, mechanical, thermal, SW, etc,) and third parties for the flawless procurement of units/subsystems. /li liSupport the Procurement Manager to ensure that all procurements are completed on‑time,



within scope and within the allocated budget. /li liPrepare documentation relevant to the assigned tasks. /li liSupport discussions with external suppliers. /li liSupport reviews with customers. /li liSupport the Payload Engineering Manager with payload functional analyses and trade‑offs, interfaces definition and verification, analysis of the performances and design justification. /li liCoordinate the requirement verification activities and the preparation of the verification control document. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in electronic engineering, Space Engineering, Physics, or equivalent qualification. /li liSignificant electronic systems design and development experience. /li liVerification control experience. /li li5 years minimum system engineering experience, familiar with the various engineering domains (e.g., electronics, structures, etc.). /li liFluent spoken and written English. /li liAble to discuss with suppliers and customers in English. /li liAble to work autonomously following high level instructions. /li liStructured work approach. /li liAble to work under pressure. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
