Experteer Overview

In this role you will manage New Product Introduction and R&D; Supply Chain activities, acting as the main link between Supply Chain and Program Management/Engineering. You’ll oversee supplier scouting, project planning, and industrialization to ensure on-time delivery and cost targets. You work closely with cross‑functional teams and suppliers to optimize manufacturing processes and be the driving force behind NPI success. This is a hands‑on role in a global aerospace context with a focus on delivering robust, manufacturable solutions.

- Scouting and qualifying new suppliers with strong technical understanding of machining and manufacturing technologies
- Manage all aspects of projects to meet objectives
- Apply project lifecycle from Gate 1 to Gate 5 (OE Production)
- Execute project plans and schedules to meet RC, NRC & Capex targets
- Support bid costing, define sourcing strategy with Commodities, manage NDA/RFQ/negotiation, and coordinate NPI supplier selection
- Monitor supplier delivery and quality to align with project requirements
- Establish and manage supplier relationships for competitive advantage




- Identify cost reduction opportunities, evaluate capacity, and manage material obsolescence
- Provide day‑to‑day Integrated Project Team support for risk, issue resolution, and hardware progress
- Define, review, and track on‑time delivery, cost adherence, and release of drawings/tech info to suppliers

Responsabilità

- Degree in Engineering (preferred aerospace or mechanical)
- 3-5 years leading complex projects in aerospace development or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of project management techniques (scheduling, risk management)
- Fluent English
- Willingness to travel ~20% (international)
- Experience with supplier management, RFQ processes, and costing in bids
- SAP capability preferred
- Microsoft Office capability preferred
