The role:
Italy Ice Cream Demand Planning Manager is a local lead role responsible for balancing the triangle Cash/Cost/Service by providing accurate demand input and ensuring successful market execution. The role governs the end‐to‐end demand and supply planning process, leads local collaboration with service providers on short‐term supply, and enhances the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP;/IBP) for Italy Ice Cream & Frozen Food business. It drives forecast accuracy, aligns commercial, supply chain, and finance teams, and supports strategic decision‐making to meet customer demand efficiently while minimizing costs and maximizing service levels. What You'll Be Responsible For Forecast Management: Develop and maintain accurate short-, medium-, and long‐term demand forecasts using machine learning models, AI‐driven forecasting tools, market intelligence, and cross‐functional inputs. S&OP; Leadership: Lead the demand planning component of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;) process, ensuring alignment across commercial, supply, and finance functions. Collaboration:



Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to gather insights on promotions, product launches, and market trends; lead the link to service provider teams for short‐term service and demand planning. Performance Monitoring: Track forecast accuracy and bias; implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecast reliability. Service and Inventory Optimization: Support inventory planning by balancing service levels, working capital, and supply constraints while minimizing business waste. Data & Systems: Lead implementation and adoption of new TMICC technology and tools (Kinaxis) and analytics platforms to drive data‐driven decisions.
