Job description
Ideal profile will be an Automation Engineer who will join Csico design, Settore
develop and commission control software for the machines or complete Sviluppo software
lines that our customers produce.

Main Responsibilities: A tempo completo
- Based on client’s URS, perform functional analysis for proposed machines

or lines, interfacing also with mechanical designers and process manager
- FDS and technical (software design) documents creation
- The candidate will be fully integrated into the team that develops

automation solution. This activity is handled in some cases with direct engagement
on the programming activities (PLC, SCADA, HMI etc.) or by supervision of other resources
- Ensure software compliance with all the requirements/standards of the Customer

and of current regulations
- For specific or critical equipment, candidate could be also involved for software

commissioning activities at Customer’s site

Basic Requirements:
- Software/Electronic/Automation/Mechatronic Engineering studies or equivalent experience




- Knowledge of at least one of the most common automation development tools

(Siemens TIA Portal; Siemens Step 7, Rockwell RSLogix) and common fieldbuses
(Profinet, Profibus, EtherCAT)
- Basic knowledge of SCADA platforms (e.g Archestra Wonderware, WinCC, Ignition, iFix)
- Available for business trips for plants commissioning at Customers’ sites
- Good knowledge of the English Language
- Able to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
- Flexible, proactive approach to achieve team goals in a dynamic team environment

Nice to have:
- Knowledge of I4.0 concepts and typical interfacing protocols (e.g OPC UA, MQTT, etc.)
- Knowledge of Visual Studio C#, Python or other high level language
- Knowledge of typical databases (e.g MS SQL, InFlux, etc.)
- Knowledge industrial process controls and industrial machinery for non-discrete,

batch-oriented processes. (Food, Conditioning, Drying, Chemical applications or simil
