R&D; Team Lead
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be part of a team responsible for electrical testing on low-voltage circuit breakers and switchboards, contributing to both Research & Development (R&D;) and certification processes. Operating on a two-shift daily schedule, your routine activities will include configuring transformers and variable loads to achieve the required test values, preparing the Device Under Test (DUT) by connecting it with appropriate cables and busbars, and executing the electrical tests while working collaboratively in a dedicated team.

This role is contributing to the ABB Electrification Business area in particular for the Smart Power Division in Bergamo Main stakeholder the Research and Development Department and external customer.
Defining the details, the test sequences, their methods of execution or testing procedures, the equipment and instrumentation to be used,
with reference to the applicable standards, preparing the necessary test set-up, the required measure instruments, connecting the device under test on the testing plant and executing tests;
Analyzing the tests results according to the applicable standard for checking the compliance of the product tested.
Producing and developing activities required for the processing of test reports for tested equipment, and issue the reports.
Proposing improvements in the existing test techniques, based on experience and use of new equipment, in particular for test and measurement equipment.
Assisting and supporting customer during testing activities.
High School Diploma in the Electrotechnical field or Bachelor Degree (3 years) in a Electrical field.
Ability to demonstrate your manual skills, analysis capacity and interpretation of results
