About the Position

We are looking for a Development Quality Engineer to join the Electronics Development Quality team, reporting directly to the Development Quality Manager. This position is based at our office in Corbetta (MI), Italy. As the Development Quality Engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible for coordinating quality activities throughout the lifecycle of the assigned development quality projects and participate in quality continuous improvement initiatives inside the organization.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the preparation of the technical dossier, focusing on the Quality section.
- Act as the Quality Functional Project Leader within the Core Project Team, serving as an interface with Plant Quality, System/Software Quality, and Customer Quality for both development and maintenance projects.
- Communicate Customer quality requirements to the Core Project Team and ensure their fulfillment throughout project development.
- Confirm the application of Lessons Learned and Design Guidelines during project Design Reviews.




- Verify compliance with Key Quality Deliverables and related Key Control Items at each Gate Review.
- Monitor major Quality risks during project development, escalating critical issues as necessary.
- Manage communication of APQP documentation to the Customer.
- Ensure execution of the Part Production Approval Process (PPAP).
- Lead resolution of critical Customer Quality issues up to SOP, promoting the implementation of Root Cause Analysis methodologies, identification and capture of Lessons Learned, and proposals for Process/Product improvements within the project team.
- Encourage the project team to apply robust risk management and issue resolution methodologies (FMEA, Kaizen, FTA, Lessons Learned tools, Six Sigma toolset).
