Experteer Overview
As Cost Management Director in Milan, you will lead the end-to-end cost management for Data Centre projects in Italy. You will develop and expand cost services, secure new business, and ensure high-quality delivery through strong governance and client liaison. You will guide pre- and post-contract activities, drive value engineering, and manage margins and resources. This role offers strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to shape cost management practices for complex, high-impact projects.

- Ensure compliance with business management systems across contracts, risk, health/safety/welfare, delivery, and finance

- Monitor margins, fees, and resource forecasts; manage commissions
- Lead pre- and post-contract QS activities: feasibility,



cost estimating, cost planning, procurement, tendering, contract administration
- Manage variations, cost checks, valuations, change control, and final accounts
- Produce and present cost plans, tender reports, monthly cost reports, and post-contract financial updates
- Drive value engineering and negotiate commercial outcomes with clients and contractors
- Act as main interface with clients, consultants, and contractors across project stages
- Build relationships and ensure effective information flow
- Enhance cost management processes, templates, and tools to improve efficiency and quality

- Minimum of 10 years' experience in cost management
