Job Summary
The open position is for a sales support role for the sales team Regional Account. You will support the Sales Director and Key Account Managers and be an internal point of contact for all business topics linked to the Key Accounts in Italy. You will manage our business administration and be the point of contact for different divisions (R&D;, procurement, supply chain, logistics, etc.) at the customer side, striving for quick, correct and reliable responses to their needs. The role is based in Milano's office.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the continued growth of the Italian Key Accounts, contributing to the commercial success: volume, margin/mt, absolute margin, overdues%, cocoa powder sales, etc.
- Prepare for customer visits or negotiation meetings: collaborate on presentations, prepare practicalities, gather and analyse information on prices, raw materials, logistics solutions.
- Follow up on customer administration proactively: manage contracts, check balances, reach out to customers about order uncertainties.




- Strive to increase revenue and profitability through a customer‑focused approach, deep knowledge of the key accounts and Barry Callebaut, and a preference for figures.

Additional Considerations
- Willing to travel from time to time (max 5%) if required for customer meetings.

Market Context
As sales support for the Italian Key Accounts, you will handle A‑level customers with high visibility across divisions. The key accounts are a cornerstone of our business; success comes from excellent service and innovation.
Essential Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum bachelor degree, preferably in commercial engineering or applied economics.
- Italian native language and excellent knowledge of English.
- Advanced knowledge of Word and Excel required.
- SAP user experience a plus.
- Team player with analytical mindset and strong commercial attitude.
- Determined to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment.
