As Procurement Category Specialist for Group Procurement - Raw Materials, you drive strategic sourcing of pharmaceutical raw materials for the Rare Disease portfolio, ensuring supply continuity, cost competitiveness, and GMP‑compliant quality. You collaborate across functions to shape category strategies, manage supplier relationships, and lead negotiations and long‑term agreements. You monitor performance, contribute to budgeting and forecasts, and push cost‑saving initiatives. This role places you at the heart of global sourcing, enabling reliable supply and value delivery.

- Define and implement global category strategies aligned with business goals
- Lead strategic sourcing: supplier scouting, selection, complex negotiations, and long‑term agreements
- Participate in cross‑functional problem‑solving, cost negotiations, and action item execution
- Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure supply continuity
- Collaborate with QA, Regulatory Affairs, MSAT, Supply Chain, and Finance on supplier qualification and GMP compliance
- Define annual budget and forecast,



monitor financial performance with Finance and Supply Chain
- Deliver procurement targets and implement cost‑saving/value‑improvement initiatives
- Manage procurement data in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and support e‑procurement platforms
- Analyze market trends, pricing evolution, and supply risks
- Work with Supply Chain to optimize inventory and ensure continuity

Responsabilità

- 3–5 years of procurement or supply chain experience in pharma/chemical sectors
- Direct experience sourcing pharmaceutical raw materials or related processes
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management with international suppliers
- Experience managing contracts and commercial agreements
- Familiarity with GMP and regulated industries
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams and problem solving
- Solid analytical skills with market data interpretation and cost/TCO analysis
- Experience with global supply markets (Europe, US, India, China)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
