In this role you will drive electromagnetic design and optimization of diverse motor technologies. You will work within the Electric Motor Department to deliver high-performance, cost-effective solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams. You’ll tackle design challenges across different motor types and use advanced tools to validate concepts. This position offers a meaningful impact on product performance and scalability in a culture that values innovation and teamwork.
- Electromagnetic design of asynchronous, synchronous reluctance, permanent magnet assisted synchronous reluctance, and permanent magnet motors
- Develop and use internal calculation software (Excel, MATLAB, Simulink, ANSYS, MotorCAD, Altair)
- Support Application Engineering Team on opportunities evaluation
- Assist the validation team
- Support Quality and Manufacturing Engineering on process development
- Support Purchasing on validation of new/alternative materials
- Master in Engineering
- 3 years of progressive experience in a similar role (automotive field a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
- Technical background in electrical/electronic products (rotating electrical machine)
