Responsibilities
- Buy materials according to production schedule to ensure production continuity, following purchasing strategy and cost efficiency target
- Monitor deliveries confirmations and escape missing confirmation to avoid impact on production
- Issue purchase orders according to customer and production needs
- Updating constantly the backlog in order to get confirmations and delivery date on time
- Review excess and shortage of material sources with Purchasing to minimize the impact
- Identify critical material deliveries, prioritize them through the supply chain and work with suppliers to cover material demand
- Cooperate with R&D; or/and Sourcing to identify alternatives and second source in case of shortage
- Cooperate with Production Planning to manage the risks in supply of materials
- Escalate to direct supervisor any possible issues that can impact on production continuity
- Cooperate with Sourcing to update MRP parameters relative to security stocks, lead time, MOQ, rounding value to optimize the supply chain
- Management of daily communication with suppliers and Purchasing





Requirements
- Basic ability to handle and manage technical drawings
- Experience in procurement or material planning roles
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP knowledge is a plus)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage supplier relationships
- Preferred background in mechanical industry or industrial automation industry
- Knowledge of English language (B1 level)
- High school diploma or university degree
