Data Engineer – Team Process Optimization (m/f/d)

Our Process Optimization team is looking for a Data Engineer (m/w/d) to help us turn operational data into actionable insight and drive continuous improvement across the business.

What awaits you :

- Analyze business processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and translate process-improvement questions into data solutions, working closely with process owners and business stakeholder
- Design, development, and optimization of scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and semantic data models using Python, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Fabric, ensuring high-quality, governed data that supports analytics, reporting, and process optimization.
- Develop interactive Microsoft Power BI dashboards and analytical reports that deliver actionable insights and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Document technical solutions, promote data engineering best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement through automation and process standardization initiatives

What you bring along:

- Experience in Data Engineering or a similar role
- Proven experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes
- Programming skills in Python
- SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services
- Experience developing dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI
- Solid understanding of data modeling, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing concepts
- Experience integrating data from APIs, databases, ERP systems, and other enterprise applications




- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on business process improvement
- Experience with Agentic AI, AI Agents, or AI-driven process automation is a plus
- English or German (professional working proficiency)
