Who we are

Easysustainability was founded as an Italy and remote-based NGO in 2023. Over the years we reached significant growth and underwent several transformations.

We are now almost unrecognizable from the initial scope, and we are really proud of the results we achieved through dozens of projects in the sustainability space.

We position ourselves as a broad generalist sustainability community which offers a safe space for people to practice the necessary skills for green careers and network meaningfully in the field.

We focus on non-formal learning and training methods: from Erasmus+ projects to virtual job simulations, to coaching, to warm introductions to important industry experts. We have a strong passion for helping grow people who are really eager to grow!

About this opportunity

We are fully aware of how harsh the (sustainability) job market is right now. Unfortunately complaining about it won’t make it better.





We know that there are outstanding individuals out there who are not able to prove their potential and grow because nobody really gives them an opportunity to start with.

In this personalised volunteering experience, the successful applicants will be deciding their own paths, and co-design their volunteering project with one of the board members of Easysustainability (offering free coaching) in a way that it will be making them gain (or at least get a good grasp of) the experience and skills they need if they want to succeed in their dream career.

The path is not meant to be linear, and this is occasional remote volunteering (not a job).

Tasks are indeed decided by the volunteer and the coach will offer advice and potentially propose adjustments.

No need of a degree, experience or any qualifications.

No deadlines or hours, it will fully depend on the person’s schedule.

The outcome of the personalised volunteering experience is obviously also varying depending on the ambition of the volunteer.

For example, it could result (but not limited to) in:

- A final presentation/training to any relevant audience
- PR, certifications, and other sponsorships
- Warm introduction to senior industry professionals who could offer job opportunities

How to apply

We decided to suppress our HR function.

We are taking a radical approach this time.

No CV or motivational letter (they will be ignored if sent).

Just find an innovative way to get noticed and distinguish yourself from the mass.

For instance, find one of the founders and/or leaders, and reach out pitching your idea of personalised volunteering experience.

Other useful information

Generic or AI-generated stuff will be ignored immediately.

Portfolios/documents showing what you can do and your future career ambitions are welcome (NOT CVs and Resumes!).

Memes may be also welcome if used correctly.

Once selected, we will have an intro call and co-design the volunteering experience.

If you ghost without valid reasons, fake experience or any other weird thing, then expect to be out of our radars (and those of our partners) for a while.

Then, after this while has passed you can get a second chance but only with a very serious pitch.

Warm introductions will happen only and only if you will demonstrate to be dependable with such figures.

You will have to be able to handle rejection (don't take it personally) and not stalk the founders in case they will eventually decide not to move on with you.
