In this role you drive cross-functional alignment across sales, operations, and logistics to optimize customer fulfilment and inventory positioning. You will implement safety stock policies at plant and regional levels and oversee pool balancing to keep stock levels optimal. You’ll partner with transport teams to ensure cost-effective, efficient movement of goods and report KPIs to leadership, supporting continuous improvements across the supply chain. This is a strategic position at an international, sustainability‑minded organization offering hybrid work.
Responsibilities
Implement plant-level safety stock policies to balance stock and maximize plant capacity
Optimize inbound, outbound, and relocation logistics to balance cost to serve and efficiency
Collaborate with transportation and logistics teams to move stock from origin to destination while maintaining the right mix
Align financial and compliance goals with the strategic supply chain plan and communicate frameworks to execution teams
Partner with logistics and transportation to ensure cost-effective fulfilment meeting inventory and customer service objectives
Manage pool balancing by relocating surplus to deficit markets to optimize regional stock positioning
Monitor and report key performance metrics to supply chain leadership on a regular cadence
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and operational excellence
Qualifications
7-10 years in planning management, operations, facility engineering, supply chain or logistics
1-2 years IT or Project Management
University degree in Business xlwpduy Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent
Masters degree in related field or equivalent experience
Understanding of industry tools (BlueYonder/Manugistics, i2, Red Prairie, Manhatta
