Special Processes Engineer
Location: Pistoia, Italy.
Accountabilities
Define and monitor the Special Processes requirements, implement corrective actions for their achievement, promote actions to improve the Special Processes development.
Required Skills & Knowledge
Design and construction of a mechanical joint: by bolting, by riveting, by bonding, by welding
Surface treatment and protection in aluminum alloy, carbon steel, stainless steel.
Quality checks on a mechanical joint realized by bolting, riveting, bonding, welding.
Quality checks on surface treatment and protection
Desired Skills & Knowledge
Familiarity with international standards: EN 15085, DIN 25201/pr_EN17976, EN 17460, EN ISO 12944
Education / Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering (3- or 5-years courses).
Owned certifications by Third Bodies related to Special Processes.
One or more years of professional experience in the main special processes listed below:
Torque Tightening, Riveting, Crimping, Painting, Structural Bonding, Brazing
Languages
English B2/C1 or higher (optional), knowledge of Italian (required for manufacturing).
Competencies
Strong ability to analyze and summarize the problem and its causes (problem solving).
Strong ability to work in a team (members internal or external to the Special Processes entity and geographically distributed on other HR STS sites).
