As an R&D; Electrical Research Lab Engineer, you will lead the Ansaldo Lab team to advance electrical testing for new products and material improvements. You will coordinate lab activities, supervise tests, and ensure alignment with state‑of‑the‑art practices and business needs. Your work will support industrial applications, safety, and quality across high‑voltage research initiatives. This role offers international collaboration and opportunities to shape critical infrastructure testing for a sustainable future.

- Plan and supervise electrical tests supporting product development and material improvements
- Analyze test results and prepare stakeholder reports
- Collaborate with universities and internal/external stakeholders to keep activities aligned with best practices and business needs
- Ensure compliance with technical requirements, quality standards, and QHSE regulations




- Act as a point of contact for internal/external clients and third parties to ensure high‑quality service and communication
- Promote and enforce safety protocols in laboratory operations

Responsabilità
- Master’s degree in Electrical, Energy, Materials or Chemical Engineering, or in Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry
- At least 10 years of experience in test laboratories in university and/or industrial environments
- In-depth knowledge of electrical insulating materials and experience planning and supervising electrical tests
- Familiarity with laboratory assets used for electrical characterization
- Strong understanding of technical specifications and QHSE requirements
- Proactivity, precision, teamwork, and ability to lead a team toward results
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Decision making, critical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities
