ppThe bTechnical Certification Engineer /b supports certification activities to ensure compliance with applicable emissions regulations and timely product approvals across North America. This role partners cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and regulatory stakeholders to prepare, submit, and track certification documentation, maintain regulatory knowledge, and support the resolution of compliance issues. In addition, the role supports certification strategy by contributing to the development of certification objectives and assisting in the implementation of systems and processes that drive consistency and efficiency. The role maintains working relationships with regulatory authorities and supports the timely submission and approval of certification documentation. The person works with the Quality and Legal departments as needed, supports the resolution of non-conformities, and ensures that certification activities align with product launch timelines and business needs. /p h3Primary Duties Responsibilities /h3 pCore Responsibilities: /p ul liSupport certification strategy by collaborating with engineering and platform teams to align regulatory requirements with product development. /li liAssist in the implementation and continuous improvement of certification processes, systems, and documentation standards. /li liMaintain effective working relationships with regulatory authorities to support certification activities. /li liTrack certification timelines and support the timely submission and approval of required certificates. /li /ul h3Certification: /h3 ul liSupport execution of certification programs in alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements and identify program development needs while collaborating with other departments. /li liEnsure that certification programs operate in line with organizational goals.
/li liFacilitate discussions with internal and external stakeholders to resolve certification-related issues and ensure clear communication. /li liMaintain a working knowledge of EPA, CARB, and ECCC regulations, and apply this knowledge to day-to-day certification activities. /li /ul h3Certification Documentation Regulatory Submissions: /h3 ul liInterpret and apply regulatory requirements (EPA, CARB, ECCC) to define and support functional and technical certification needs across product platforms. /li liCollaborate with engineering, product development, and cross-functional teams to gather technical data, define certification requirements, and ensure alignment with product development and launch milestones. /li liPrepare, submit, and track certification documentation with regulatory authorities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely approvals in accordance with established processes. /li liCollect, organize, and maintain certification documentation and records in compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. /li liMonitor and document regulatory changes at the federal, state, and local levels, and support the assessment of impacts to current and future product lines. /li liSupport the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of certification processes, procedures, and compliance requirements. /li liCoordinate with regulatory authorities as needed to support submission follow-ups, resolve issues,
and obtain required certifications. /li /ul h3Other Important Responsibilities: /h3 ul liCollaborate with Quality, Legal, and global Technical Compliance teams to support compliance activities and the resolution of non-conformities. /li liSupport interactions with regulatory and certification authorities, including communication, issue resolution, and follow-up as needed. /li liParticipate in and support audit activities, including regulatory reviews, site visits, witness testing, and certification-related inspections. /li liEnsure certification activities are aligned with product launch timelines, regulatory requirements, and customer delivery commitments. /li /ul h3Requirements: /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in a related field. /li li3-5 years of experience in emissions certification, regulatory compliance, or a related technical field. /li liExperience supporting EPA, CARB, or similar regulatory certification processes preferred. /li liStrong knowledge of emissions standards, certification procedures, and regulatory compliance. /li liDemonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional activities and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. /li liProven ability to independently prioritize workload, manage competing deadlines, and exercise sound judgment with minimal supervision. /li liAbility to influence and communicate effectively with engineering, quality, and regulatory stakeholders. /li liExcellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills. /li liHigh attention to detail and ability to manage technical documentation with accuracy. /li /ul h3COMPENSATION PACKAGE /h3 pAnnual gross salary in the range of €45K-€55K, commensurate with experience and qualifications. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
