ppOur client is dedicated to making nuclear power more accessible and focuses on delivering: /p pbSimple and Safe Micro-Reactor Solutions /b /p pScalable, affordable, and deployable in various locations /p pGenerates energy at a rate of bone megawatt electric (MWe) /b at a time /p pThey are currently developing a bMicro Modular Reactor /b /p pCapable of providing clean energy and radioisotopes where needed /p pInitially supporting the reactor licensing process in the bUnited States /b /p pBy partnering with them, we have the opportunity to contribute to bA Rapidly Growing Scaleup /b /p pAiming to become a leading technology provider in global energy solutions /p pCommitted to innovation and sustainability /p pThis collaboration offers a unique chance to be part of a bHigh-Performance Team /b /p pFocused on delivering essential energy solutions worldwide /p h3RESPONSABILITIES DUTIES /h3 h3The Nuclear Fluid Systems Engineer will be responsible for: /h3 ul liResponsible for the design, analysis, and optimization of fluid-based systems in nuclear power plants, research reactors, and other nuclear facilities. /li liEnsuring the safe and efficient operation of cooling, steam, and hydraulic systems while maintaining strict compliance with nuclear safety and regulatory standards. /li liWorking closely with reactor engineers, regulatory agencies, and maintenance teams to develop and improve system performance, reliability, and safety. /li /ul h3What you will be in charge off: /h3 ul liDesigning, analyzing, and optimizing nuclear fluid systems, including reactor coolant, steam generation, condensate, and hydraulic systems.



/li liConducting thermal-hydraulic modeling, flow analysis, and pressure drop calculations to ensure system efficiency and safety. /li liDeveloping and maintaining system documentation, including flow diagrams, PIDs, operating procedures, and safety reports. /li liPerforming system reliability assessments, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for fluid system failures. /li liEnsuring compliance with NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission) regulations, ASME codes, and other industry standards. /li liCollaborating with reactor engineers, safety specialists, and regulatory bodies to enhance fluid system performance. /li liSupporting the testing, commissioning, and maintenance of fluid systems in nuclear facilities. /li liAssisting in plant modifications, upgrades, and retrofits for improved efficiency and regulatory compliance. /li liEvaluating material compatibility and corrosion effects to ensure long‑term fluid system integrity. /li liProviding technical support and training to plant operators and maintenance personnel. /li /ul h3CANDIDATE PROFILE /h3 pbEducation: /b /p ul liMaster’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or a related field. /li /ul pbExperience:



/b /p ul li3-7 years in fluid system design, thermal-hydraulic analysis, or nuclear plant operations (entry‑level positions may require internships or co‑op experience). /li /ul pbCertifications (Preferred): /b /p ul liPE (Professional Engineer) license, ASME Boiler Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) certification, or equivalent industry credentials. /li /ul pbExpertise: /b /p ul liIn fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer principles. /li /ul pbProficiency: /b /p ul liIn hydraulic modeling and simulation software (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, STAR CCM+, Flowmaster). /li /ul pbKnowledge: /b /p ul liOf nuclear reactor coolant systems, heat exchangers, and steam turbines. /li /ul pbFamiliarity: /b /p ul liWith ASME BPVC, NRC regulatory requirements, and ANSI standards for nuclear fluid systems. /li /ul pbExperience: /b /p ul liWith computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and finite element analysis (FEA) is a plus. /li /ul pbStrengths: /b /p ul liStrong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. /li /ul pbSkills: /b /p ul liEffective communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with engineers, operators, and regulatory agencies. /li /ul pbAttention to Detail: /b /p ul liA commitment to nuclear safety and compliance. /li /ul pbAbility: /b /p ul liTo work under pressure and manage multiple projects with strict deadlines. /li /ul pbPreferred: /b /p ul liWritten and oral fluency in Italian. /li liAbility to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
