This role offers the opportunity to work on complex capital programmes and highly regulated facilities across Europe and globally, including research laboratories, manufacturing plants, pilot facilities, innovation centres and technically advanced healthcare environments. /p pThe successful candidate will have strong cost management experience within the life sciences sector and demonstrable experience of laboratory environments incorporating bContainment Levels 1- 4 (CL1- CL4) /b. Experience across every containment level is not required; however, candidates should understand the commercial, technical and operational complexities associated with specialist laboratory and high-containment facilities. /p h3You’ll Be Responsible For /h3 ul liDirecting the development, ownership and presentation of cost plans throughout the project lifecycle. /li liProviding strategic cost management advice on complex laboratory, manufacturing and research facilities. /li liManaging procurement activities including tendering, bid analysis, contract formation and commercial negotiations. /li liSupporting clients in achieving programme objectives through effective commercial management, benchmarking and value optimisation.



/li liBuilding trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, consultants and delivery partners. /li liEnsuring robust financial governance and ethical commercial management across all commissions. /li liSupporting sustainable project outcomes, including whole-life cost and carbon considerations. /li liDriving best practice and consistently uphold Mace's values and professional standards. /li liDirecting and mentor cost management teams, promoting excellence and continuous improvement. /li liContributing to the development of life sciences cost management capability across Mace. /li liSharing knowledge and best practice through Mace's Centres of Excellence and global sector networks. /li liSupporting innovation, digital cost management tools and data-driven decision making. /li /ul h3You’ll Need To Have /h3 ul liSignificant cost management experience within the Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Healthcare or Advanced Technology sectors. /li liExperience delivering projects involving laboratory facilities with CL1-CL4 containment environments (experience across a selection of containment levels is acceptable) /li liStrong cost planning, estimating, procurement and commercial management expertise. /li liExperience working on highly serviced,
