The role is responsible for establishing the target‑state data architecture, modeling standards, and technology patterns that enable the ingestion, transformation, storage, and enrichment of data. This ensures that CNH’s data foundation is scalable, performant, trusted, and AI‑ready, while remaining aligned with Enterprise Architecture, Security, and the broader Data AI strategy. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDefine the target‑state data architecture and roadmap (conceptual, logical and physical data models) for the enterprise data landscape, maintaining current and target state blueprints. /li liSet standards, reference architectures and design guidelines for data ingestion, modeling, storage and consumption on the Databricks Lakehouse,
to be adopted by delivery and engineering teams. /li liArchitect scalable, reusable and automated data pipelines (batch streaming) and promote a data products operating model with strong DataOps practices. /li liDesign data structures that are AI‑ and analytics‑ready, enabling BI, advanced analytics, ML and GenAI use cases (feature engineering, vector/semantic layers, RAG‑ready data) leveraging the Databricks ecosystem. /li liApply data governance and data quality principles within the architecture, partnering with the dedicated Data Governance function (which owns governance strategy) to ensure compliant, well‑modeled and well‑cataloged data, leveraging Unity Catalog for cataloguing, lineage and access management. /li liEnsure security, privacy and compliance by design (GDPR, data classification, access control). /li liPartner with business and IT leaders to translate business needs into architectural decisions and to maximize the value of CNH’s information assets. /li liProvide technical leadership and architectural assurance across programs and external delivery partners. /li /ul h3Experience Required /h3 h3General /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent experience. /li liMinimum 7+ years in data architecture / data engineering / data modeling roles. /li liAvailable for occasional business travel. /li /ul h3Functional /h3 ul liStrong business‑domain, information and process understanding; ability to relate architectural decisions to business value. /li liMastery of data modeling and data architecture patterns (dimensional, data vault, medallion/Lakehouse). /li liSolution evaluation and comparison; reference‑architecture design. /li liWorking knowledge of data governance and data quality principles (the role applies them and collaborates with the Data Governance function, but does not own governance). /li /ul h3Technical /h3 ul liDatabricks Lakehouse (core requirement): Apache Spark, Delta Lake,
