We offer you to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment and to contribute to this group’s transformation. Our Global Payroll and Benefits process expert team is integrated in the GBS HR Service Line. As a Team Leader you will lead and develop a team of ~ 4 people responsible for the payroll, benefits, accounting and audit related processes according to the given procedures: /p ul liEnsure payroll and benefits operation compliant with local regulation and company standards /li liSupport payroll and benefits related audit, internal and external controls /li liEnsure operation delivery under a streamlined process and practise and identify and support the opportunity of process optimization /li liPartner with finance and treasury in payroll accounting operation and support /li liPartner with external payroll, time and benefits provider to ensure the best services /li liPartner with project team in payroll and benefits related project /li /ul h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead, mentor, and develop a team of payroll and benefits experts, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. /li liSet clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide ongoing feedback and coaching. /li liPromote professional growth and development within the team through training and skill-building initiatives. /li liEnsure business continuity and backups are in place. /li liEnsure or perform training activities (ex: onboarding of new employees in the team). /li /ul h3Payroll and Benefits process management and administration /h3 ul liDesign and monitor the KPIs of global payroll expert team in service delivery including payroll accounting activities, payroll and benefits related audit and control support, process alignment, optimization and project related support /li liOversee the end-to-end payroll and benefit process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local regulations. Ensure work instructions/operating procedures are periodically updated.



/li liManage relationships with external payroll and vantaggi vendors and service providers to ensure seamless payroll delivery. /li liStay updated on global payroll legislation and ensure compliance with local tax laws, labor regulations, and reporting requirements. /li liResolve complex payroll issues and discrepancies in a timely manner. /li liImplement and maintain payroll best practices, policies, and procedures. /li liEnsure appropriate follow-up by the team of all pending issues, identifying trends, recurrent issues and taking appropriate actions/contacts internally or externally to address root causes /li /ul h3Strategic Initiatives and Process Improvement /h3 ul liIdentify opportunities to streamline payroll and benefits processes, leveraging technology and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy. /li liPartner with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to align payroll and benefits strategies with organizational objectives. /li liLead or contribute to global HR projects, such as system implementations, mergers and acquisitions, or expansion into new markets. /li liCreate trusting partnership with stakeholders (internal or external) /li liBe known and recognized by BSA and GBS service line stakeholders. /li liTake ownership and resolve escalation requests from stakeholders. /li liCreate, maintain and be active in networking. /li liInitiate and maintain improved collaboration, across GBS/BSA organization, to accelerate improvement. /li /ul h3You will bring /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus. /li liExperience working with payroll and HRIS system. /li liMinimum of 5 years of experience in global payroll and benefits administration and with preferred at least 3 years in global leader role. /li liStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. /li liExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cultures and geographies. /li liProven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.

Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, qualification and internal equity and can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range. The primary location for this job is Portugal; however, it may also be based in other countries. For other countries, local competitive salary conditions will apply, in line with local legislation.
