As an Expert Mechanical Engineer, you will be involved in multidisciplinary innovation projects. You will report to the Head of Technology for the organization of your job and your technical and professional growth and to the Chief of Tech for the progress of your work on the different projects. /ph3Main Areas of Activities /h3ulliCollect and document technical requirements and perform effort estimates /liliModeling and validation of parts, components, assemblies and complete products in 3‑D CAD System based on requirements /liliMechanical dimensioning and estimate mechanical performance of components /liliScout and identify OTS components and tools and interact with external suppliers /liliRapid prototyping supplier management and apply small mechanical adjustments to parts /liliSupport in industrialization and transfer to manufacturing activities /li /ulh3Required Background and Technical Skills /h3ulliProven working and practical knowledge of mechanical dimensioning methods and techniques and how they apply and impact on a finished product’s features and performance /liliGood manual skills and knowledge of the main mechanical workshop tools /liliGood knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes of mechanical parts /liliKnowledge of design for manufacturing methods (TRIZ, QFD) /liliWorking knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes of plastic parts (Injection Moulding, Termoforming, Blow Moulding, design of moulds, etc.) is a plus /li /ulh3Tools /h3ulliVery good knowledge of 3‑D CAD Software with full operational independence (Solidworks Premium and Solidworks Simulation is a strong plus) /liliGood knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) /li /ulh3Other Skills and Required Characteristics /h3ulliAbility to work in a team, team building and lead, strong attitude to collaborative problem solving, self‑learning abilities, passion for mechanical engineering and willingness to deep dive into the discipline, obsession for detail /liliAvailable to business trips in Italy and abroad /li /ulh3Required Skills /h3ulliMaster’s degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent scientific or technical qualification /lili3 to 6 years of work experience in a similar position or with similar duties in industrial manufacturing, RD, mechanical design and engineering companies /liliEnglish (B2) /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
