ph3Job Description Summary /h3 pThe Global Process Engineer (GPE) will work closely with the Global Manufacturing Engineering Leader and focus on developing and deploying global standards to improve reliability, availability, and performance of Aero Alliance’s manufacturing equipment and processes. The GPE will analyze data, implement proactive measures, drive cost reduction through standardization, and serve as a focal point for new technology introductions, asset transfers, and new process introductions. The role requires coaching a dotted‑line organization of local factory manufacturing engineers, leveraging analytical skills and lean methodology to create process standards (“One Product One Process”). /p h3Roles and Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop packaging, material transportation, material conveyance, and material handling process equipment standards; deploy global standards across the Aero Alliance factories. /li liLead the transformation toward automated material transportation solutions including AGVs. /li liDefine, control, and communicate global processes for manufacturing assets, including facility integration, acceptance testing, machine health checks calibrations, preventive maintenance plans, spare parts strategy, technical technology training. /li liValidate engineering specifications and shop‑floor application of new processes, including EHS, Manufacturing Engineers, Engineering, Quality, Materials, Industrialization, and Sourcing. /li liDevelop and implement reliability improvement strategies using FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). /li liCollaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering, and safety teams to design and implement preventive and predictive programs. /li liDrive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing equipment downtime and improving quality processes. /li liLead investigations into failures and chronic issues, identifying root causes and implementing robust corrective actions to eliminate problems from re‑occurring. /li liProvide technical support for asset management, including equipment life‑cycle analysis and spare parts optimization. /li liTrain local factory manufacturing engineers to deepen their expertise in process and equipment. /li liParticipate in the design and installation of new equipment and implementation of processes, ensuring reliability is considered from the outset (Design for Reliability).
/li liInterpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services; stay informed of industry trends. /li liUse high-level judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in operational, product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering; assess quality of information and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. /li liLead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity; communicate difficult concepts and influence options. /li /ul h3Additional Requirements /h3 ul liEngage design for SixSigma methodology (DFSS), including measuring existing machine capability, analyzing process requirements, and developing a strategy to maintain/improve process yield. /li liDeploy lean principles, including 3P (Production Preparation Process), Total Productive Maintenance, Jidoka, PQ/PR, Takt Cycle, Standard Work, Value Stream Maps, Kaizen, 4D/8D/A3 Problem Solving, and Poka Yoke. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 h3For US Candidates Only /h3 ul liBachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college. /li li7+ years of industrial experience in manufacturing or quality. /li li5+ years of experience in a technical role (manufacturing engineer or similar) with expertise in Packaging, Material Transport, Material Handling. /li liStrong knowledge of engineering concepts and quality processes. /li liAbility to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and schematics. /li liProject Management skills and experience. /li /ul h3For Non-US Candidates Only /h3 ul liBachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience. /li liSignificant years of industrial experience in manufacturing or quality. /li liSignificant years of experience in a technical role (manufacturing engineer or similar) with expertise in Packaging, Material Transport, Material Handling. /li liProven knowledge of engineering concepts and quality processes. /li liProven ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and schematics. /li liProject Management skills and experience.
