ppIn our Instruments and Payloads business unit we are developing electronic units for microsatellites and cubesats including Radio Frequency payloads, radar instruments and data link systems. Our systems are currently at the core of innovative satellite earth exploration missions (e.g., SATURN) or integrated as satellite subsystems for national and international space programs. /p pIn this context we are looking for an experienced Space Project Manager capable of understanding the main requirements and trade-offs of those peculiar systems and capable of managing space development programs according to the most relevant European and international standards on Space project management. The candidate will enforce our development teams in both our Rome and Milan offices. /p pThe candidate will take the lead of a portfolio of space projects, directly interacting with the customers and with the internal technical leaders, guaranteeing timely and high quality deliveries through all the project phases. /p h3Main Tasks And Responsibilities /h3 ul lito plan, oversee and lead projects from ideation through its completion; /li lito ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, budget and quality; /li lito understand the customers’ requirements and be able to respond effectively with a specific solution or with a plan to meet them; /li lito understand project priorities, risks, and define suitable trade-off and roadmap changes to manage contingencies; /li lito perform or support proposal preparation, including preliminary work planning, resource allocations, delivery plan and quotation,



in tight cooperation with the activity technical leader. /li /ul h3Specific Skills /h3 ul liConsolidated project management skills; /li liProven technical understanding of Satellite Earth Observation products, services and applications especially related to the Satellite upstream market; /li liESA ECSS and7or MIL standard knowledge; /li liTechnical understanding of Radio Frequncy satellite payloads like RADAR SAR / Altimeters, Radiometers or similar systems (an Electronical or Telecommunication Engineering or similar technical academic background is required); /li liExcellent external (customers) and internal (technical team) communication and negotiation skills; /li liExcellent written and verbal communication skills – needed for communicating with a wide range of people (from scientists to finance officers), both internally and externally. /li liTechnical proposal preparation experience in institutional contexts like ESA, ASI and EUMETSAT; /li liFluent English. /li /ul h3Education And Experience /h3 ul liMaster's Degree in Electronic or Computer Science or Telecommunication Engineering; /li liAt least 5 years of relevant experience in the role in ESA or ASI projects; /li liBrilliant academic resume. /li /ul pOur organization operates in accordance with gender equality and is committed to supporting inclusivity and diversity.
