ph3About the Position /h3 pWe are looking for a Development Quality Engineer to join the Electronics Development Quality team, reporting directly to the Development Quality Manager. This position is based at our office in Corbetta (MI), Italy. As the Development Quality Engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible for coordinating quality activities throughout the lifecycle of the assigned development quality projects and participate in quality continuous improvement initiatives inside the organization. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liContribute to the preparation of the technical dossier, focusing on the Quality section. /li liAct as the Quality Functional Project Leader within the Core Project Team, serving as an interface with Plant Quality, System/Software Quality, and Customer Quality for both development and maintenance projects. /li liCommunicate Customer quality requirements to the Core Project Team and ensure their fulfillment throughout project development. /li liConfirm the application of Lessons Learned and Design Guidelines during project Design Reviews. /li liVerify compliance with Key Quality Deliverables and related Key Control Items at each Gate Review. /li liMonitor major Quality risks during project development, escalating critical issues as necessary. /li liManage communication of APQP documentation to the Customer. /li liEnsure execution of the Part Production Approval Process (PPAP). /li liLead resolution of critical Customer Quality issues up to SOP, promoting the implementation of Root Cause Analysis methodologies, identification and capture of Lessons Learned, and proposals for Process/Product improvements within the project team. /li liEncourage the project team to apply robust risk management and issue resolution methodologies (FMEA, Kaizen, FTA, Lessons Learned tools, Six Sigma toolset). /li liFoster team adherence to Quality Management System requirements and support periodic audits. /li liParticipate in workgroups to promote and improve quality processes. /li liSupport, monitor,



and report on organization-wide and cross-functional activities (e.g., Lessons Learned Database, FMEA Guidelines/standards improvement, Quality System assets). /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liAt least 3 years of experience in a technical role within quality, manufacturing, or production environments /li liFamiliarity with mechanical, electrical or electronic components and assemblies /li liUnderstanding of basic engineering drawings and specifications /li liExperience with measurement instruments and quality control tools /li liExperience with root cause analysis techniques and quality improvement methodologies /li liKnowledge of Quality Management Systems and automotive standards (e.g., IATF 16949) /li liFamiliarity with APQP and PPAP processes /li liPractical knowledge of lesson learned and continuous improvement tools (e.g., Kaizen) /li liExperience with risk management methodologies (e.g., FMEA, FTA) /li liAbility to lead root cause analysis (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) /li liExperience in a proactive role within cross functional teams /li liFluent written and spoken English /li /ul h3Other Skills We Would Welcome /h3 ul liAPIS tool for FMEA /li liSix Sigma methodologies /li liAuditing experience (internal/external, supplier) /li liAdditional spoken languages /li /ul h3Expectations from You in This Position /h3 ul liAvailable for short Business trips to support project needs /li liStrong communication and stakeholder coordination skills /li /ul h3What This Position Offers You /h3 ul liFast-paced yet supportive and high-performing international team with an inspiring ambition to transform the future of mobility. /li liSupport in onboarding and further training that will set you up with Marelli's speed. /li liA hybrid work model, helping you to achieve work‑life balance‑combining the best of both spending time working remotely, benefitting from focus time, and purposeful co-creation time in the office. /li /ul h3Compensation Benefits /h3 pAnnual salary: €42,000–45,000 gross, based on experience.
