Instructor – Prolonged Field Care Training

Aviano Air Base, Italy, 33081

Duties

Instruct U.S. military personnel on Prolonged Field Care (PFC) tactics and procedures

Deliver a 5‑day training course for up to 8 students, including classroom and hands‑on exercises

Conduct realistic trauma simulations using cadavers, mannequins, and moulage role players

Teach skills including airway management, fluid resuscitation, surgical

Qualifications

Proven experience training military personnel in Prolonged Field Care

Fluent in English with strong knowledge of TCCC and PFC protocols

Familiar with military medical equipment (Zoll, Propaq, suction units, etc.)

Prior military medic or equivalent field xlwpduy experience preferred (e.g., 18D, SOCM, PJ)

Hours of Work

Duration: 5 consecutive workdays

Daily Hours: Approximately 8 hours per day

Total Training Time: 40 hours, including a minimum 8‑hour practical exercise
