For our client, a multinational company leader in its sector, we are searching for a:
**PLANT MANAGER.** The role is responsible for all phases of plant operations, including production, logistics and distribution, R&D;, customer service and H&S.; He/she oversees all daily operations of the plant driving continuous improvement and optimization of all processes according to Lean principles; he/she ensures positive employee relations and a safe working environment, as well as monitoring financial performance of processing facility. **Responsibilities**: - Manage the overall production in conformance with established policies, procedures, guidelines, budgets, standards and/or specifications, to ensure achievement of all facility objectives and KPIs.
- Achieves financial objectives by preparing operating budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, compiling and studying costs and initiating corrective actions; requesting assistance from internal financial support as needed.
- Develop and maintain high levels of quality awareness that will assure conformance to product specifications and focus on continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.




- Establish and maintain an effective dialogue with the employees through open and timely assessments of performance; identify skill development needs and opportunities for development activities and recognize and reinforce employee development.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with employee Unions representatives, ensuring an open constructive dialogue and the exchange of ideas and feedback.
- Develop and maintain high levels of safety and loss prevention awareness through development of health & safety prevention programs to ensure positive employee attitudes and compliance with Italian regulations, corporate policies and the achievement of safety objectives; have the overall legal responsibility for all aspects related to health & safety of Plant.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory agency, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and Quality System policies and procedures. **Skills & Requirements**: - Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Solid experience in the role, in complex and dynamic international contexts
- Excellent ability to organize and plan, delegate, lead and motivate people, and maintain effective control.
- Fluent in English both written and spoken.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Customer focus and lean production mind-set.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines.
