With a team of more than 1,000 professionals worldwide, they combine deep technical tax expertise with innovative technology to help clients navigate increasingly complex indirect tax requirements. /p pThey are looking for an experienced VAT Manager to become the in-house technical lead for Italy. /p pThis is not a high-volume VAT return preparation role. Instead, you'll provide technical leadership on complex Italian VAT matters, support international teams, improve compliance processes, liaise with tax authorities and play a key role in shaping the future of the firm's VAT offering. /p pYou'll also have the opportunity to broaden your expertise through involvement in tax advisory, e‑invoicing, tax technology and wider international tax projects. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liAct as the in-house technical specialist for Italian VAT matters /li liSupport compliance teams with complex or non-standard VAT issues /li liLead tax authority audits and enquiries, acting as the primary point of contact with the Agenzia delle Entrate /li liOversee VAT refund claims and related correspondence /li liReview and quality assure complex VAT filings /li liDevelop, document and improve internal VAT compliance processes and quality standards /li liMonitor legislative and regulatory changes,
