Role Description The Waiter role at Tenuta Santo Pietro is a contract, on-site position based in Pienza. This role involves welcoming guests, presenting menus, taking food and beverage orders, and delivering dishes in a timely and courteous manner. The Waiter will provide recommendations on menu items, explain farm-to-table offerings, and ensure tables are properly set, cleaned, and reset between services.





Daily tasks include coordinating with kitchen and bar staff, handling guest questions or concerns, processing payments, and supporting overall dining room operations. The role also requires adherence to hygiene and safety standards while contributing to a warm and professional atmosphere for all guests.

Qualifications

Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with diverse guests.

Experience in food & beverage and food service environments, ideally in restaurants or hospitality settings.

Basic cooking or food preparation knowledge is beneficial for explaining menu items and farm-to-table concepts.

Ability to work on-site in Pienza, with flexibility to support evenings, weekends, and peak seasonal periods.

Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Previous experience in hospitality or fine dining is an advantage; proficiency in Italian and English is highly beneficial.
