Primary Objective The Technical Service Specialist is responsible for performing planned maintenance activities, hardware and software upgrades (TSBs), providing backup first-line (Level 1) service, and supporting instrument installations and deinstallations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-line technical service to Abbott Ambassadors (service interventions requiring less than 4 hours of labor)
Schedule and perform planned maintenance (PM) activities
Execute hardware and software upgrades (Technical Service Bulletins – TSBs)
Support instrument installations and deinstallations
Contribute to achieving customer satisfaction (NPS), service KPIs, and the district’s economic growth and profitability
Education
Bachelor’s / Engineering degree in medical, electrical,
mechanical engineering or medical technology preferred or equivalent experience required
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Strong experience using analytical tools and technical software
