In this role you provide after‑sales support and consultancy for extrusion presses and forges, focusing on maintenance, repairs, upgrades and preventive actions. You will engage with customers on‑site, prepare service plans and offers, and coordinate with Product Master teams to improve processes. You help drive reliability and equipment performance through field interventions and data‑driven feedback. This is a pivotal role for sustaining customer operations and shaping service improvements at scale.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to customer calls and claims
- Pre‑analyze problems and propose corrective actions
- On‑site intervention for rectification or advisory work
- Prepare service intervention offers and spare parts supply
- Share information with the team and coordinate with Product Master
- Maintain periodic contact with customers
- Collect documents and inquiries related to claims
- Prepare servicing plans and visit customer sites for servicing
- Provide comprehensive reporting on customer operations
Qualifications
- Engineering/technical degree or high school diploma
- Minimum 10 years of experience in installation and/or servicing presses, forges or CNC machines
- Good English; other languages (German or Spanish) a plus
- Advanced MS Word and MS Office skills
- Strong mechanical and E&A; servicing capabilities
- Cad-One Cad
- Plant construction experience for the relevant competence area
