In this role you will lead global strategic sourcing for pharmaceutical raw materials within Rare Disease programs, ensuring supply continuity, cost competitiveness, and GMP/compliance. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define category strategies and manage supplier relationships, contracts, and budgets. You’ll drive cost optimization, risk mitigation, and reporting across a global supplier base.

Define and implement global category strategies aligned with business objectives.

Lead strategic sourcing: supplier scouting, selection, complex negotiations, and long‑term agreements.

Participate in business reviews and problem‑solving with cross‑functional teams; support cost negotiations.

Build strong supplier relationships and ensure supply continuity via sourcing strategies aligned with Supply Chain and MSAT.

Collaborate with QA, RA, and Regulatory teams to monitor performance, qualification, change management, audits, and GMP compliance.





Define annual budget and forecasts; monitor financial performance with Finance and Supply Chain.

Deliver procurement targets and pursue cost‑saving and value‑improvement initiatives.

Manage procurement data in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and support supplier management in e‑procurement platforms.

Analyze market trends, pricing, and supply risks; work with Supply Chain to optimize inventory.

Contribute to Raw Materials Team initiatives and share market knowledge; support harmonized reporting.

Responsabilità

Minimum 3–5 years in Procurement or Supply Chain in pharma or chemical sectors; related technical roles acceptable.

Direct experience sourcing pharmaceutical raw materials or equivalent processes.

Strong negotiation and stakeholder management with international suppliers.

Experience managing contracts and commercial agreements.

Familiarity with GMP and regulated industries.

Experience cross‑functionally with QA, RA, MSAT, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Manufacturing; problem‑solving mindset.

Solid analytical skills with market data interpretation; cost and TCO analysis experience. xlwpduy
